De'Aaron Fox remains confident in the San Antonio Spurs, even with injuries to key players mounting.

The San Antonio Spurs are set to pay a visit to the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, March 25.

Ahead of the game, the Spurs added a key player to their injury report in De’Aaron Fox.

Due to lower back tightness, the Spurs are going to rule Fox out for the matchup. His absence will change up San Antonio’s lineup against the struggling Memphis Grizzlies.

The Spurs will start Dylan Harper, Stephon Castle, Devin Vassell, Julian Champagnie, and Victor Wembanyama.

It’s rare for Fox to miss matchups for the Spurs. The last time Fox missed a game was during the Spurs’ December 27 matchup against the Utah Jazz. At the time, it was an isolated incident, as Fox was back for the following matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

This season, the Spurs have rolled out Fox for 63 games. He typically averages 31.3 minutes on the court. The veteran is averaging 48.6% shooting from the field and 34.2% shooting from beyond the arc this season. Fox posts averages of 18.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 6.3 assists.

Oklahoma City is currently on a 12-game winning streak, showing no signs of slowing down as the season reaches the final stretch of games.

After the Spurs take on the Grizzlies, they’ll have games against the Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, LA Clippers, Denver Nuggets (twice), Philadelphia 76ers, Portland Trail Blazers, and the Dallas Mavericks.
