Emmett Johnson along with other Huskers perform at Nebraska’s 2026 Pro Day

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska Football held their 2026 Pro Day at the Hawks Championship Center on Wednesday. 29 NFL teams had representatives in attendance to watch the former Nebraska football players go through drills.

Emmett Johnson had the most interest among scouts. Johnson improved on his 40-yard dash time. He shared that he ran a time in the 4.40 second to 4.50 second range, a few hundredths of a second faster than what he ran at the NFL combine in Indianapolis.

Heinrich Haarberg impressed scouts working out at the tight end position. Haarberg, a former starting quarterback for the Huskers, is trying to land on an NFL team as a tight end / special teams player.

Other Nebraska athletes who worked out and met with teams include: Henry Lutovsky, Ceyair Wright, Javin Wright, DeShon Singleton, Marques Buford Jr, Marques Watson-Trent, Rocco Spindler, Kevin Gallic, Michael Booker III, Dasan McCullough, Elijah Jeudy, and Dane Key.
