While the Buffalo Bills prepare for the start of the 2026 NFL season, quarterback Josh Allen is preparing for the start of his life as a family of three.
Allen and his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, announced they were expecting their first child together in December. And based on Steinfeld’s decision to skipthe Academy Awards despite her movie, “Sinners,” being the most-nominated film in Oscars history, her due date is imminent.
Steinfeld’s “Sinners” co-star, Michael B. Jordan, gave “Hailee at home” a shoutout while accepting his Oscar for Best Actor, noting how “she’s getting ready to have a baby right now. Thank you so much for being the other half of Stack.”
The actress and Allen are keeping a low profile as they await the arrival of their baby. However, Steinfeld is keeping fans updated on her pregnancy journey via her newsletter, Beau Society.
“I’ve gone back and forth on tiny details more than I care to admit (why is choosing a rocking chair this emotional?), but seeing it all slowly come together has made our new life feel more tangible. Emphasis on ‘slowly’ coming together — it’s all still very much a work in progress,” she wrote.
“We’re getting ready to meet someone we already love so much. I’ve racked my brain for words to describe that feeling, and I don’t have them yet. Maybe that’s the point. For now, I’m blessed to be settling into the feeling.”

The past two issues of Beau Society are food-focused, which is appropriate given that Steinfeld is deep into her third trimester. After last week’s brown-butter chocolate chip cookie issue, she delved into other recipes that the “Dangerous” singer swears by.
“From a white-wine braised chicken with artichokes and orzo that I’ve made for dinner a hundred times to a lemon risotto that will make whoever you make it for fall in love with you (only kinda kidding!),” she teased, “these are recipes I come back to constantly. I hope you find something to make for dinner — and dessert, of course.”
Steinfeld and Allen, both 29, first start dating in May 2023. The couple also loves to cook together. She’s mentioned the couple cooking everything from Thanksgiving dinner to pizza to homemade pasta in previous issues.

TMZ captured photos of the famous couple earlier this month in Orange County, California, where Allen owns a home in Dana Point.
Allen plunked down $7.2 million to purchase the 2,808-square-foot abode shortly after he started dating Steinfeld in May 2023. The Bills star’s summer home, located in the exclusive gated community of Monarch Bay, includes access to the private Monarch Bay Beach Club, owned by the Waldorf Astoria. The resort offers an oceanfront golf course, a major draw for the quarterback.
Less than two months after the 2024 NFL MVP and Steinfeld tied the knot, Allen listed his Dana Point home for sale at $8.5 million. However, he took it back off the market in January, shortly after they announced Steinfeld’s pregnancy.
It seems the couple is happy with two SoCal homes. Steinfeld owns a house in Encino, a suburb northwest of LA, about 80 miles from Dana Point. She purchased John Fogerty’s former home for $8 million in 2021, per Realtor.com. The 9,000-square-foot home has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and a massive backyard with a built-in pool, hot tub, and outdoor kitchen.
