Los Angeles Lakers Star Luka Doncic Made History Against Pacers

On Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers are playing the Pacers in Indiana.

Luka Doncic had 39 points, five rebounds, seven assists and one steal while shooting 15/28 from the field and 4/10 from three-point range in 31 minutes of playing time.

In addition to his strong star, Doncic also made history.

Ryan Ward of Lakers OnSI wrote: “Per Lakers: With his 30th point at Indiana, Luka Dončić recorded his league-leading 42nd 30-point game of the season, tied for the eighth-most in a season in franchise history.

It also marks his 11th straight game with 30 or more points, tied for the longest streak of his career and matching Shaquille O’Neal for the sixth-longest such streak in franchise history.”

Doncic has been on a scoring tear in the month of March.

He had come into the night scoring 165 points over the last four games.

Lakers Daily wrote: “Luka Doncic with a monster 1st quarter: 21 points on 8/12 from the field and 3/5 from 3”

Doncic entered the night with averages of 33.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 8.4 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 47.4% from the field and 36.4% from three-point range in 60 games.

In his first full season with the franchise, he will have a real chance to win the 2026 MVP Award.
