Both NBA stars delivered a monstrous comeback game to lead Philadelphia's wire-to-wire win over the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.
Shrugging off rust from his lengthy oblique injury absence, Embiid rattled 35 huge points in 12-of-17 shooting in just 28 minutes. Meanwhile, George also went off in just his first game after clearing his 25-game suspension, dropping 28 points with six triples for 26 minutes.
Their combined 63 points made up a large share of the 76ers’ 157 total against the Bulls, marking the team’s highest single-game output in 56 years.
By beating the Bulls in a high-powered scoring display, the Sixers improved to 40-33.
