Ryan Kavuma-McQueen sends message to Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior with super international performance

Everyone at Chelsea will be aware of the talents of Ryan Kavuma-McQueen by now, however he has just given a further nudge to Liam Rosenior with his latest performance.

There are 10 Chelsea academy stars representing England at various levels to back up the first team internationals jetting around the world over the next week or so.

Chizzy Ezenwata scored a brace for the England U18s, continuing his personal quest to replace Shumaira Mheuka as the Chelsea U21 striker from next season.

Chelsea wonderkid Ryan Kavuma-McQueen scores brace for England U17s

Not long after, England’s U17s took to action against the Faroe Islands, and Kavuma-McQueen followed suit with a first half brace in a 3-0 win.

The winger just added to his sensational goalscoring record for his country. He now has nine goals in just six games for this specific age group.

Chelsea are clearly very keen on the winger, and have been keen to avoid him having the opportunity to leave the club in a way similar to Rio Ngumoha.

Kavuma-McQueen has signed a contract with the club, and the future is certainly bright for the 17-year-old in West London.

If you could pick Chelsea’s next no.10, would you have Bellingham or Rogers?

Kavuma-McQueen knocking on Rosenior’s door

Rosenior was in attendance to see Kavuma-McQueen star for the Chelsea academy earlier this year, name dropping him as one of the most promising talents at the club.

He has been on the bench in the Champions League this season, and has been unfortunate not to already be handed his debut for the club.

Jesse Derry, who is older than Kavuma-McQueen, has been preferred for cameo appearances in the FA Cup so far by the new manager.

However, his latest international showing is further proof to the boss that he is ready for his opportunity when it comes his way.
