Arsenal could hit the transfer market hard once again as talk emerges of a move for PSG sensation Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - which would further bolster their attack

Arsenal's continued investment in the transfer market now sees them boast, arguably, Europe's most complete and deep squad - and more arrivals could be on the cards this summer.

The Gunners welcomed the likes of Martin Zubimendi, Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres last summer and now there is talk of them adding a European champion from PSG in the form of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

He's only been in Paris for just over a year, but the Georgian is regarded among the best wingers on the planet and helped down Arsenal in last season's Champions League semi-final. He scored in the quarter-final and the final with reports claiming the Premier League side are eyeing up a summer move.

They would need several things to fall into place, but they are looking to make additions to their forward line. Arsenal see Kvaratskhelia as the type of player who could take them up a level.

Kvaratskhelia has scored 12 times this term but the major stumbling block for Arsenal will be how highly he is thought of at the Parc des Princes. It is understood that they see him as crucial to their project, although his camp are said to be open to at least discussing a move.

He joined the French champions from Napoli for £59.5million - and they would want a massive increase on that fee if they could be swayed into a sale, but that would require some serious negotiation.

Arsenal's frontline boasts a load of stellar names, but ultimately decisions need to be made with certain players having their minutes cut. There is also an uncomfortable conversation that may need to be had regarding Viktor Gyokeres - and that may hinge on how he performs in the final months of the season.

The Swede was seen as the prolific striker who could spearhead Arsenal's ambitions - but the goals have not been as free flowing as many may have hoped.

Julian Alvarez

Reports in Spain continue to talk up a move for Julian Alvarez, despite the success he's enjoyed at Atletico Madrid. He appears to retain a good relationship with Diego Simeone, his fellow Argentine, but the lure of the Premier League may well remain.

Alvarez was a hit at Manchester City, even if he had to play second fiddle to Erling Haaland. His quality was so obvious that Atletico spent £81.5m to land his services. It would likely require a similar fee if the Spanish side were prepared to cash in.

Mikel Arteta will have every hope that Bukayo Saka can rediscover the form that made him one of the best players in the country. He was recently signed to a new lucrative deal and is firmly part of the club's vision for the future. He's endured one of his less productive seasons, but remains a regular and, even if Kvaratskhelia was landed, they play on opposite wings.

Eberechi Eze has been among the best buys Arsenal made in the summer and the ex-Crystal Palace man has shown how impressive he can be operating through the middle. It has allowed Arteta to get another of his quality performers on the pitch and the Englishman has likely leapt above Martin Odegaard in the pecking order.

There will be little desire to change the make-up of the midfield, where Declan Rice has become a talismanic figure. He looks worth every bit of the £105m they spent to land him in 2023.

Similarly their backline is seen by many as Europe's finest and the likes William Saliba and Gabriel are hugely committed to the project at the Emirates. Hincapie has come in and impressed on the flanks but he is only on loan with the option to buy for £45m.
