Kai Havertz has ended speculation over his potential Arsenal future after committing to the club in a press conference while on duty with the German national side.
Unlike several of his teammates who have pulled out with injury issues, he is ready to play Switzerland and Ghana in two friendlies.
Mikel Arteta will be hoping the German avoids any further complications after he missed so much of the campaign, having had to undergo a procedure on his knee.

A clash with Manuel Ugarte in the opening match of the campaign at Manchester United proved much worse than first feared.
Having returned in the new year, he was frustrated to have lost in the League Cup final but says he plans to give his all as Arsenal chase a first Premier League title in 22 years.
“I think, of course, we have a lot of games left in the league,” he said. “We’re still in three competitions.
“Personally, I know I was out for the first six months of the season, so I am going to give my all for the club over the last two or three months now in the hope of heading to the World Cup with a great deal of confidence.”
There were some questions over whether Havertz would stay with the North London side after the arrival of Viktor Gyokeres and further links ahead of the summer window to Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez.
Despite this noise, the 26-year-old denied having ever heard or read anything to suggest that he might seek the exit door from The Gunners.
“No, to be honest, I haven’t heard anything about that, and I haven’t read anything about it either,” he said. “I feel right at home at Arsenal, I feel everyone there is also very, very happy with me.”
“Sure, it wasn’t a very easy season, but I definitely see my future at Arsenal, in London.”
