Bronny played 13 minutes against Indiana and made a positive impact on both ends of the floor, finishing with 4 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 2 steals, and 1 block. He also provided a highlight with an impressive one-handed dunk.
LeBron knows better than anyone what Bronny has gone through over the past three years - from his health scare at USC to his early days with the Lakers. Now, he says, Bronny is proving he belongs in the NBA.
"Especially knowing the path, you know, the road ...," LeBron told The Athletic. "So, just proud of him. I'm super proud of him. And he belongs. He belongs."
This season, Bronny has appeared in 33 games for the Lakers, averaging 2.1 points and 1.2 assists in 7 minutes per contest.
Meanwhile, in the NBA G League, he continues to show promise, averaging 15.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 3.5 assists while shooting 54.6% from the field and an impressive 42.1% from three-point range on nearly five attempts per game. He is also averaging 1.3 steals.
