Khloe Kardashian has admitted she punched ex-husband Lamar Odom in the face after catching him doing drugs in the aftermath of his almost fatal overdose back in 2015.

The former Los Angeles Lakers star is the subject of the latest 'Untold' docuseries on Netflix, titled 'The Death & Life of Lamar Odom'. It is due to be released next week.

During the show, Kardashian recalls how she found the ex-NBA star 'smoking crack' in a house that she had rented for him. She had also organized a personal chef and caretaker for Odom.

The reality TV star, 41, explains: 'So at this point, Lamar can barely talk. He can speak a little bit but it's more like, "Mmhmm," and everything's delayed. He wasn't able to take a shower on his own.

'Once you know the smell of crack, it's the most identifiable, disgusting smell, and there's nothing that you can confuse it with. And I remember stopping by the house and I smelled crack.

'I remember slowly tiptoeing up the stairs, he was in his bedroom, sitting on the edge of the bed, smoking crack, and I just punched him in his face.'

The Kardashians star claims she told Odom she had 'just put my life on hold to f***ing take care of you'. She also believed he didn't own a cellphone at the time but spotted one in his room.

'He was playing me so I could continue this lifestyle for him,' she says. 'I said, "By Monday you need to be out of this house, I'm done, I'm not paying for a thing and I never want to speak to you again".'

Odom reportedly doesn't add much about that incident in the show, although does say it's 'f***ed up' someone gave him the drugs knowing he'd overdosed in the past.

The New York native, who was the 2010-11 Sixth Man of the Year, made $114 million over his 14-year career in the NBA. He married Kardashian in September 2009 after a month of dating.

Just last week, Odom's attorney issued a not guilty plea on behalf of his millionaire ex-NBA star client in a DUI case against him in Las Vegas.

Kevin Coburn delivered the plea in a Las Vegas courtroom with his client, the two-time NBA champion, nowhere to be seen. During the proceedings, Coburn also asked for a bench trial for Odom - which was set for July 7.

He was detained by police on suspicion of DUI and driving more than 100mph.

On January 20, Odom spoke out about his arrest, insisting he had not drunk or taken narcotics when he was arrested. In aninterview with TMZ, he did not specify what was in his system.

But later that day, it was reported that cops found the 46-year-old with bloodshot eyes, while his car had an 'overwhelming odor of marijuana.'

According to TMZ, the ex-NBA star confessed to smoking marijuana just hours before police caught him speeding at 106mph.

It's said the authorities were patrolling the streets around 2am on Saturday when a black SUV sped past them and then changed lanes without signaling.

Police reportedly questioned Odom at the scene, with the ex-NBA star claiming his passenger had been smoking. But he reportedly admitted he had smoked marijuana around 4pm that day and admitted to 'driving like he was in "Back To The Future".'

According to TMZ, Odom struggled during several sobriety tests, including failing to touch the tip of his nose in six attempts.

Police also asked whether he had suffered a traumatic brain injury, to which Odom reportedly laughed before claiming to have suffered '12 strokes and six heart attacks and that he was poisoned at a brothel in Pahrump.'

The two-time NBA champion was hit with three charges: driving under the influence, driving more than 41mph over the limit and improper lane change/failure to maintain lane.

In a statement, Odom later insisted he is 'learning from this experience.'
