Ayesha and Steph Curry have been together since 2008.

It has been nearly 15 years since Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry married his wife, Ayesha Curry. Four kids later, the couple continues to navigate their family life along with their busy schedule as an NBA player and entrepreneur, respectively.

Steph and Ayesha first met in North Carolina as teenagers, but they only hung out as friends. They reconnected in 2008 and began dating in Los Angeles. They have been together ever since, getting married on July 30, 2011, in Charlotte.

The couple has four children: daughters Riley and Ryan and sons Canon and Caius. Their relationship has been scrutinized by social media, especially after Ayesha’s appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

Despite what some people think, Steph and Ayesha have been consistently showing love to each other on social media. The four-time NBA champ recently composed a heartfelt message on Instagram, greeting Ayesha on her 37th birthday on March 23.

Steph Reveals Biggest Lesson From His 15 Years of Marriage

During a special episode of the IMO Podcast with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson, Steph and Ayesha Curry discussed the inner workings of their relationship as a couple and their family as a whole.

Steph even opened up about the biggest lesson he learned from his 15 years of marriage with Ayesha.

“From my perspective, the biggest thing is we’ve learned each other as we’ve gone through,” Curry said. “Even when things get a little rocky, or there’s obstacles you have to go over, people feel stressed out or overwhelmed or whatever the case are, we’re always working towards the same goal of being there for each other.”

The two-time MVP added that having that same goal as a couple is a rewarding experience. It’s also important to have humility to make things work and acknowledge that there is still room for more communication and growth.

As for Ayesha, the biggest lesson from her husband is the relentless work ethic that made him one of the greatest players of all time. It has affected her in a lot of ways because she approaches things with the same work ethic, which makes her successful in her own right.

Update on Steph’s Return From Injury

Stephen Curry, Warriors

GettyStephen Curry #30 of the Golden State Warriors looks on during a break in the action in the fourth quarter of the game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on March 15, 2026 in New York City.

It has been nearly two months since Steph has played on the court. He hasn’t suited up for the Warriors since January 30, as he continues to deal with a runner’s knee. He has not been cleared for contract and has yet to participate in a scrimmage with nine games left in the regular season.

Speaking on Willard & Dibs on 95.7 The Game, Kerr revealed that once Steph gets cleared, he’ll be a starter. The coach was optimistic that the greatest shooter ever could return before the end of the regular season, with the NBA Play-In Tournament as the worst-case scenario.

But regardless of Steph’s return, the Warriors already clinched a spot in the play-in after beating the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. They were led by Gui Santos, who scored a career-high 31 points.
