Kim Little signs one year contract extension with Arsenal

Arsenal captain Kim Little has signed a one-year contract extension. The 35-year old first joined the club in 2008. She signed for Seattle Reign in the US and spent three seasons in the NWSL before rejoining the Gunners in 2017.

The Scot has 177 goals across 405 appearances for the club, Kim has won every club trophy possible during her time with Arsenal, including the club’s second UEFA Women’s Champions League title in Lisbon in May 2025. Little has also lifted five league titles, three FA Cups, seven League Cups, one Community Shield and the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.

Kim scored 59 goals in 140 appearances for the Scotland national team between 2007 and 2021, when she announced her retirement from international football. She has received several (but nowhere near enough) individual accolades during her career, including PFA Player of the Year in 2013, BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year in 2016, and four inclusions in the PFA Team of the Year. She was awarded an MBE for services to football in the New Years Honours List in 2023.

Kim remains one of the best players in the world and one of the most important players in the team as she approaches her 36th birthday.
