Arsenal fans attempting to purchase tickets in the home stands at the London Olympic Stadium for the forthcoming derby with West Ham United are being asked to provide proof of support.
Following the furore that resulted from Manchester United supporters being spotted all around the ground during the 1-1 draw back in February, the club have taken further steps to ensure visiting fans are not granted access to seats intended for West Ham supporters.
And as a result all new applicants, without a booking history are being asked to provide proof of their support.
An email from the club to one Arsenal fan, whose attempt to purchase tickets had been rejected, read: "We are currently conducting ticket checks for this fixture to ensure that away supporters do not purchase tickets in the home end.
"Your ticket is currently on hold and will not permit your entry into the stadium on match date in line with our terms and conditions as you have no previous booking history with us, or have only mainly booked this particular fixture, we require evidence of you and your guests being a West Ham United supporter.
"Therefore, could you please provide photographic evidence that you are a West Ham United supporter which could be from a party, event or fixture wearing West Ham merchandise or West Ham related evidence. Please note any merchandise will need to be purchased prior to January 2026.

"Furthermore, you will also need to provide official identification such as a driving licence, passport or similar official document of yourself to accompany and support your photographic evidence. Please note that these are non-negotiable requirements and you must reply to the e-mail.
"This email attaching the required documents by Tuesday, 31 March in order for your account to be released and tickets forwarded. Please note we will not accept any digitally-altered/artificially enhanced photographs, or any photographs submitted at an Arsenal fixture."
