Boston Celtics Make Jaylen Brown Announcement Before Hawks Game

On Friday night, the Boston Celtics will host the Atlanta Hawks at TD Garden.

The Celtics are coming off a 119-109 victory over the OKC Thunder (also at home).

Jaylen Brown finished with 31 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and two steals while shooting 9/17 from the field and 1/3 from three-point range in 39 minutes of playing time.

For Friday’s game, the Celtics have announced that Brown will be listed as questionable on the injury report.

The Boston Celtics wrote: “Injury Report for tomorrow vs. ATL:

Jaylen Brown – Left Calf Tightness – QUESTIONABLE

Neemias Queta – Right Thumb Sprain – QUESTIONABLE

Nikola Vucevic – Right Ring Finger Fracture – OUT

Derrick White – Right Knee Contusion – QUESTIONABLE”

Brown is in the middle of his 10th season as a pro (all with the Celtics).

He has been one of the best ten players in the league (this season) with averages of 28.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 47.7% from the field and 34.2% from three-point range in 65 games.

The Celtics are currently the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 48-24 record in 72 games.

They have won seven out of their last ten games (and are 25-11 at home).

Following the Hawks, the Celtics will play their next game on Sunday when they visit the Charlotte Hornets in North Carolina.
