The Las Vegas Raiders, at the time of writing, still have Maxx Crosby in their ranks.
We know of the failed move to the Baltimore Ravens, and now Maxx is back in Las Vegas, but for most, the biggest question is: for how long?
Maxx has said all the right things all offseason, and appears content, and even happy to be a Raider in 2026. But given the Raiders dealt him once, some think they could listen to offers again.
And for NFL.com's Jeffri Chadiha, he wonders if anything will happen with Crosby.
“What happens with Maxx Crosby? Now that a little bit of time has passed since the blockbuster trade that didn’t materialize with the Baltimore Ravens, it's worth wondering who else should make a run at acquiring Crosby," Chadiha writes.
“But keeping him on a team that is still a long way from contending isn't great business. Somebody will come calling for him again.”

Should teams call about Maxx?
Well, they would be silly not to at least pick up the phone, right?
The going rate after the Ravens debacle is nowhere near the same. Teams won't offer two first-round picks for Maxx now.
But that doesn't mean teams won't come back for the star pass rusher. It will all depend on what the Raiders want, and in fact, if they still want to make a deal for Maxx or if they are happy to keep him.
Either way, this saga doesn't feel like it is over, and the only time it will feel like that is once the trade deadline passes.
Until then, the thought of Maxx being traded again will always be a topic of discussion.
