Jeremiyah Love weighs in on his recent pre-draft visit with the NY Giants.

In a little less than a month, the New York Giants will be on the clock with the fifth pick in the NFL Draft. As they continue to do their due diligence, they look to have made a good first impression with one of their potential targets.

On March 24th, Notre Dame held its Pro Day for all prospects in the 2026 class. A lot of eyes were drawn to the festivities, largely to see running back Jeremiyah Love. Following the action, the likely top ten pick touched on his recent visit with the Giants and Tennessee Titans (who hold the No. 4 selection in the draft).

“I met with the Titans I met with the Giants,” Love said. “Both two great organizations. Great coaching staff as well. My goal going into all these visits is just to learn as much as I can.”

Jeremiyah Love details his meetings with the Giants and Titans:

Love turned a lot of heads last season by rushing for 1,372 yards and 18 touchdowns in 12 games for the Fighting Irish. Following his top-three finish in Heisman voting, he is now expected to be among the first prospects coming off the board in the draft.

NFL Analyst Feels Jeremiyah Love is Perfect Fit for Giants Head Coach

Love is among the many names that have been connected to the Giants at No. 5, but some mock drafts have the front office going in a different direction. However, one analyst doesn’t think Jon Harbaugh will pass on the dynamic backfield threat if he’s available.

During the March 24th installment of “NFL Live,” Mike Tannenbaum gave his thoughts on where Love could fall in April’s draft. He feels the Notre Dame RB is a perfect fit for Harbaugh’s system and thinks he’s someone New York’s coach will covet.

“I just can’t imagine John Harbaugh in year one who is there to establish a new culture, a new identity,” Tannenbaum said. “Would pass on somebody as talented as Jeremiyah Love.”

As of now, the Giants are expected to enter the season with Cam Skattebo leading the charge in the backfield. That said, if New York were to take Love, they’d arguably have the NFL’s most exciting young running back duo.

Giants Potential Prospect Makes Case for Being Positive Locker Room Fit

As they continue to build out their young core, off-field fit is also something the Giants have to consider in the draft process. Luckily for them, it looks as though they won’t have to worry about Love being a locker room problem if they decide to pick him at No. 5.

While speaking with the media after Pro Day, Love was asked about his life outside of football. He dove into some of his favorite activities when he isn’t honing his craft, making it clear that he lives a quiet lifestyle.

“I’m a pretty simple guy,” Love told reporters. “You draft me, I’m not doing too much of nothing other than football…My perfect day after a game is going home, play video games, talk to whoever I want to talk to, and watch anime. You going to get strictly a football player with me.”

Remarks like these should be a major positive for the Giants as they weigh all their options in the coming weeks before the draft.
