DaQuan Jeffries is coming off a season where he appeared in 47 games (20 starts) for the Charlotte Hornets.
He had averages of 6.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists per contest while shooting 40.5% from the field and 33.5% from three-point range.

Jeffries had been a free agent during the 2025-26 season.
That said, he recently signed a 10-day deal with the Sacramento Kings.
Sean Cunningham of kcranews wrote: “Kings officially announce the 10-day signing of DaQuan Jeffries after league granted Sacramento a hardship extension due to having so many injuries.
Jeffries has been part of G League Stockton this season averaging 23.5 points (51.8 FG%, 43.8 3pt%, 83.1 FT%), 5.9 rebounds & 2.5 assists per game”

Jeffries made his debut for the Kings (on Thursday) when they played the Orlando Magic in Florida.
He had two points while shooting 1/1 from the field in seven minutes of playing time.
The Kings lost by a score of 121-117.

Jeffries has spent part of six seasons in the NBA with the Hornets, Knicks, Rockets, Kings and Grizzlies.
His career averages are 4.6 points and 2.1 rebounds per contest while shooting 41.5% from the field and 31.5% from three-point range in 111 games.

Jeffries has also appeared in six NBA playoff games for the Knicks.
At 28, he will get a chance to briefly showcase his skills on the Kings to potentially earn a contract for next season.
James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento: “The Kings added DaQuan Jeffries on a 10-day hardship contract on Thursday and the 28-year-old gave some solid minutes. In his second stint with the Kings, Jeffries scored 2 points. The other Daeqwon added 23 points off the bench.”

The Kings have had a tough season as the 15th seed in the Western Conference with 19-55 record in 74 games.
They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak (and 5-5 over their last ten).
