Moisés Caicedo has emphatically ruled out a summer departure from Chelsea, insisting he remains fully committed to the club despite mounting links to Real Madrid.
The Ecuador international has been the subject of growing transfer speculation in recent months, with the Spanish giants reportedly monitoring his situation as they assess midfield reinforcements ahead of the next transfer window. However, speaking during international duty, Caicedo delivered a clear and decisive message regarding his future.
Asked about a possible move to Real, the Ecuador international said: ‘I have a contract with CHELSEA and I want to become a legend there , God willing. My intention is to stay there and finish in the best way possible.’
His stance contrasts sharply with the uncertainty surrounding teammate Enzo Fernández, who has recently refused to fully dismiss the possibility of a move to Madrid, fuelling further speculation around Chelsea’s midfield core.
Caicedo remains under a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge and is widely viewed as a cornerstone of the club’s long-term project. His performances since arriving from Brighton in 2023 have established him as one of the Premier League’s elite defensive midfielders, underlining why interest from Europe’s top clubs has intensified.
Despite ***CHELSEA***’s inconsistent season and uncertainty over Champions League qualification, the club are not expected to entertain offers for the midfielder.
