Manchester United have been forced to endure a lengthy break from football ahead of the final stage of the season thanks to the international break and not being in the FA Cup or Europe.
Michael Carrick's team won't be back in action until April 13, some 24 days since their previous outing at Bournemouth. A 2-2 stalemate on the south coast, coupled with results elsewhere, meant United stayed third in the Premier League. They're merely one point ahead of fourth-placed Aston Villa but six clear of Liverpool in fifth and seven above Chelsea.
Leeds will make the trip to Manchester following the international break, while United's subsequent fixture takes them to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea with an opportunity to hand their ambitions of Champions League qualification a massive lift. Here's all the latest news from Old Trafford.

Rooney's season over
Wayne Rooney's Manchester United academy prospect son Kai Rooney will be sidelined for the rest of the campaign, reports the Mirror.
The youngster shared the disappointing news on social media on Thursday. He posted on Instagram Stories: "Disappointed to be out for the rest of the season. Back stronger next pre-season," followed by a love heart emoji.
Rooney made his Old Trafford bow earlier this season in the FA Youth Cup. He's chalked up six league outings for the Under-18 team, netting twice and providing one assist.

He also won the Premier League Shield with United's Under-16s on Tuesday. Michael Carrickās son, Jacey Carrick, also featured in the 2-0 win over Burnley.
The Under-18s have reached the semi-final stage of the FA Youth Cup and the final of the Premier League Cup. But Rooney will be unable to feature.
He will be eligible to sign a professional contract at Old Trafford next season.

Arsenal's Myles Lewis-Skelly has been added to United's summer transfer wishlist, as per football.london, in a bold plan to swoop for one of their rivals' brightest young talents.
The England international has seen his chances in north London dwindle following the loan signing of Piero Hincapie, whose move from Bayer Leverkusen is anticipated to be made permanent in the summer.
Lewis-Skelly earned his senior England cap last season after impressing at left-back, despite primarily being utilised in midfield during his academy years.
He racked up 23 league appearances for Arsenal's first-team last campaign, many of them starts, but has clocked just 312 minutes in the competition this season.
"Every season is different," Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said of the youngster earlier this month. "He had very good moments in this season. He had other moments when he hasn't played in that much."

United seem to be on the hunt for a new left-back in the summer, while Lewis-Skelly's youth and adaptability will undoubtedly be viewed as advantages.
They signed teenage full-back Diego Leon from Cerro Porteno in 2025 but the Paraguayan has largely been involved with the Under-21 squad this term.
