Arsenal fans are in a state of slight concern at the moment after they lost to Man City in the Carabao Cup final.
The Gunners went into the game in much the better form than City, and they looked to be major favourites at Wembley. If they did win, it would have kept their quadruple hopes alive, and win Mikel Arteta his first trophy since 2021.

However, Arsenal lost 2-0 to City in what was one of the Gunners’ poorest performances in a while. It left many Gunners fans worried about whether it will effect the players’ confidence ahead of the run-in.
They remain in the FA Cup and Champions League as they are in the quarter-finals of both competitions, and are nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
Nigel Winterburn tells Arsenal fans not to worry
Former Arsenal defender Nigel Winterburn has said that he thinks despite the Carabao Cup defeat, Arsenal are still going to get over the line and win the Premier League title this season, and potentially more.
Speaking to AceOdds.com, Winterburn said: “I am not worried going forward. We are leading the Premier League and still have the FA Cup and the Champions League.”
“I think Man City wanted to make a statement, but it doesn’t affect anything in the league. Arsenal still have the point advantage and we just need to take it game by game. The next league match will be hugely important and they have to keep going. I am not really worried.“Obviously, the loss is going to show in the next few weeks if it will affect them, but we are assuming that the players will be ready for that final push. Everything is still in place, now they just need to push it through. They have to win at least one trophy.”
The Gunners return after the international break with an FA Cup quarter-final against Southampton, before facing Sporting CP in the Champions League quarter-finals.
