Chelsea have intensified their pursuit of AC Milan defender Strahinja Pavlović after opening talks over a potential summer transfer, according to fresh reports from Italy.
The 24-year-old centre-back has emerged as a priority target for the Blues as they look to overhaul their defence ahead of next season. Corriere Dello Sport indicate Chelsea have now gone beyond initial interest and made contact to explore the conditions of a deal, signalling a more concrete approach.
Pavlovic, who has earned 52 caps for Serbia, has been one of AC Milan’s standout performers this season, establishing himself as a key figure under Massimiliano Allegri. His development has not gone unnoticed, with Chelsea closely monitoring his progress and placing him high on their list of defensive targets.
