Manchester United face old rivals Leeds United when they return to Premier League action after the international break.
Michael Carrick has turned United’s season around having been appointed as caretaker head coach in January, following the sacking of Ruben Amorim.
The Englishman has overseen seven victories from ten matches in charge, although United were held to a 2-2 draw by Bournemouth last time out.
Despite that draw, the Red Devils remain third in the Premier League table and are on course to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Now, it appears that Man United have been offered the chance to sign a La Liga star.
As per TEAMtalk, Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Barcelona forward Ferran Torres.
The report claims that the Spaniard has been offered to United as Barcelona look to offload players in order to ease their financial concerns.

Torres, 26, joined Barcelona from United’s rivals Manchester City in 2022 and has since made 198 appearances for the Spanish side across all competitions, scoring 60 goals and providing 21 assists.
The Spain international previously spent two years in England with City, registering a combined 20 goals and assists during his time under Pep Guardiola before moving to Barcelona.
His contract with the La Liga champions is set to run until the end of the 2026/27 season, but the report claims that the Spanish side are preparing to sell players during the upcoming transfer window.
It is claimed that Barcelona have identified Torres as a player that could be sold, with talks over a new deal having failed to progress.
Premier League leaders Arsenal have previously shown interest in the attacker, however Torres himself has previously snubbed the idea of a return to the English top flight.
