Chelsea’s injury list is continuing to get smaller, with another sidelined star making the steps to get towards making a recovery.
Liam Rosenior’s already tough situation was made more difficult when a number of his key players suffered injuries, most notably Reece James.
There are always worries when the skipper goes down, however Chelsea sources are claiming James could return for the Premier League fixture against Manchester United next month.
QUARTER-FINAL 1: Liam Rosenior vs Frank Lampard
One issue which upset the boss was when Jamie Gittens was forced off against West Ham back in January with a hamstring injury, however it looks as if his time on the sideline is nearing its end.
Gittens posted a photo on his Instagram story showing him running on the treadmill, usually soon leading to a return to work on the grass.

Rosenior described it as a real shame when the injury occurred, with the winger showing promising signs under the new man in charge.
Gittens starred against Charlton in the manager’s first game at the helm, and will be returning at a time where securing a regular place in the side is by no means out of the question.
How many points will we pick up here?
And will it be enough to save Liam Rosenior’s job?
Gittens tipped for big things under Rosenior
Chelsea’s attack is misfiring at the worst possible time in the Premier League, with their chances of qualifying for the Champions League fading out of view.
The return of Gittens could come at the perfect time, especially if Rosenior can have the impact on him many expect.
Gittens was tipped to flourish under Rosenior due to his proven ability to work with younger players, even if they have already been going through tough times.
The former Borussia Dortmund man has not enjoyed the strongest start at Stamford Bridge, but will be afforded a clean slate when he returns at a crucial time of the season.
