The Killers are set to headline the UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show, presented by Pepsi. The rock icons will perform their greatest hits ahead of the May 30 spectacle at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary.

Both Arsenal and Liverpool, as the only English sides left in Europe’s elite club competition, are hoping to reach that stage of the tournament. Mikel Arteta’s Gunners, who topped the league phase, face Sporting CP in the quarter-finals beforehand, while Arne Slot’s Reds take on reigning champions PSG. Arsenal are widely deemed to be on the favourable side of the draw, while Liverpool's task is potentially more difficult given the teams on their side of the bracket. Awaiting the two sides, should they get through the next two rounds unscathed, will be an unmissable music performance before kick-off.

The Killers thrilled England football fans when they stopped their concert at the O2 to livestream the national team’s victory in the Euros semi-final in 2024, before playing their iconic anthem Mr Brightside. Now, they'll be providing the soundtrack to the most prestigious club football event of the year.

The Las Vegas quartet announced the set in spectacular fashion, releasing a short film starring football legend and Pepsi ambassador, Sir David Beckham. The video sees frontman Brandon Flowers and Beckham playing pool at a bar when news of the Kick Off Show flashes up on the television screen.

The pair then challenge each other to a race to the stadium in the clip, aptly titled The Race Begins. Brandon jumps into a custom electric blue car while Beckham tears off on his motorcycle.
