A look at the latest injury news surrounding Chelsea as they battle for Champions League football.

Chelsea are preparing for a big battle when they return from the international break, just about hanging on in the battle for Champions League football. Poor form has seen the Blues drop to six points off the top four, and it looks unlikely they will reach the top four, although there will still be twists and turns.

Chelsea’s biggest hope of landing European football will be if fifth place becomes an additional Champions League spot, given they are only one point off Liverpool in the table. Ahead of a crucial run-in, we have rounded up the latest injury news at Stamford Bridge.

Filip Jorgensen

Jorgensen was injured in the first leg against PSG and will be out until April.

Reece James

Rosenior has said: “We're going to look more after the international break. It's not serious, but there is something in his hamstring, and that's something that we will monitor after the international week.”

Benoit Badiashile

Badiashile battled injury before the break but will be back after it.

Trevoh Chalobah

Chalobah will be out until May. Rosenior has said: “Fortunately, it's nowhere near as serious as we first feared. It's still a serious injury, but we're looking at a period of maybe six weeks, which is disappointing, but from where we were a couple of days ago, we are in a better place than what we thought.”

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens

Gittens has not returned as quickly as possible. It’s hoped he will be back after the game.

Levi Colwill

Rosenior has said: “He's hitting all of the benchmarks that he needs to, but we need to keep making sure that he keeps going past certain levels. We want to see him out there ASAP, but within the right timeframe. Yeah, hopefully, this season, which would be a massive boost.”

Mykhailo Mudryk (Suspended)

Mudryk is suspended. A club statement in the summer read: “We can confirm that Mykhailo Mudryk has been charged with Anti-Doping Rule Violations alleging the presence and/or use of a prohibited substance, in terms of Regulations 3 and 4 of The FA's Anti-Doping Regulations. As this is an ongoing case, we are not in a position to comment further at this time.” Mudryk is not included in the final count due to the nature of his absence.
