The CBF have confirmed that Raphinha has been ruled out of their next game and is now heading back to Barcelona for further tests and treatment.
The clube have now issued a statement that reads as follows:
“Raphinha has a right hamstring injury, as confirmed by medical tests carried out by the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) following the discomfort he experienced during the Brazil v France match in Boston on Thursday. The player is returning to Barcelona to begin the appropriate treatment. The estimated recovery time is five weeks.”
Raphinha will therefore miss some huge games for Hansi Flick’s side. Here’s the schedule for the next five weeks.
