**Chelsea have confirmed that Catarina Macario has returned to her native United States to join Women’s Soccer League side San Diego Wave.**
The striker has moved to California after an injury-hampered spell at Chelsea, who signed her from Lyon during the summer of 2023.
Macario made 59 appearances for the Blues and scored 15 goals.
