It’s been a week that Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua would presumably like to forget.

The 24-year-old two-time Pro Bowler was recently accused by a woman of using antisemitic remarks and biting her hard enough to break her skin, according to a report from TMZ.

The encounter allegedly happened on December 31, 2025, following a group hang out in Century City. The victim also filed a temporary restraining order against Nacua.

Though Nacua is expected to still have to face his accusers in her civil lawsuit, the record-breaking wide receiver got a bit of good news regarding the situation on Friday.

“The woman accusing Puka Nacua of using an antisemitic statement and then biting her so hard he left teeth marks has voluntarily withdrawn her application for a temporary restraining order,” TMZ reported.

“Joseph Kar — the lawyer representing the alleged victim, Madison Atiabi — announced the news Friday … writing in a press release that his client dropped the TRO to focus solely on the civil lawsuit, which is still moving forward.

“… Nacua’s attorney, Levi McCathern, says the woman’s claims are part of a shakedown attempt … with the woman demanding millions from his client.”

The TRO being dropped is a small win for Nacua given the number of legal actions against him was now cut in half.

TMZ published video from the night of the alleged incident, which shows the victim dancing in front of a passed out Nacua reportedly after he bit her, which Nacua’s camp could potentially use as evidence of the situation not being as serious as it’s being made out to be in the media.

“Nacua’s attorney, Levi McCathern, says the woman’s claims are part of a shakedown attempt … with the woman demanding millions from his client,” TMZ continued. “McCathern has also said there was some horseplay on the night in question, including a minor bite — which he says resulted in nothing more than a temporary mark. McCathern denies his client ever made an antisemitic comment.”

This Is Nacua’s Second Run In With Antisemitism

Nacua’s accuser claims the Rams wideout alleges he yelled “f— all the Jews” during a dinner, which caused her to feel uncomfortable.

What’s even more disturbing is that this isn’t the first time Nacua has landed in hot water for using such language. Back in December, Nacua made an antisemitic gesture during a livestream with social media influencers N3on and Adin Ross that caused quite an uproar on social media.

Ross urged Nacua during the livestream to bust out a new touchdown celebration during a future game by using a gesture that was derogatory toward Jewish people. Nacua proceeded to make the gesture multiple times on the livestream, and he issued a public apology shortly after.

“When I appeared the other day on a social media livestream, it was suggested to me to perform a specific movement as part of my next touchdown celebration,” Nacua wrote on social media.

“At the time, I had no idea this act was antisemitic in nature and perpetuated harmful stereotypes against Jewish people. I deeply apologize to anyone who was offended by my actions as I do not stand for any form of racism, bigotry or hate of another group of people.”
