Steve Kerr has fully acknowledged that the time is running out for Stephen Curry to rejoin the Golden State Warriors for the remainder of the season.

Speaking in pregame of the Warriors' Friday home game against the Washington Wizards, the Dubs head coach set the record straight on whether Curry has a deadline to follow for a potential return with nine games left on their regular season calendar.

“We’re not bringing him back [only] for the Play-In game," Kerr told reporters. "He needs to play some games. We need to give him a runway if this is going to work, and we are running out of games.”

The Warriors just recently announced that Curry will be re-examined for another week.

The superstar guard is aiming to ramp up his activities in hopes of finally landing a comeback for Golden State. He hasn't taken a 5-on-5 scrimmage yet, as the pain continues to bother him out of his "runner's knee" condition.

Curry has been out since late January, as the Warriors endured a brutal 8-15 record throughout his continued absence.

The Warriors are already positioned to enter the Play-in Tournament. They are currently 10th in the Western Conference with a 35-38 record.

Whether or not Curry will return, the Dubs can only brace for a tough road ahead.
