Alabama basketball's offseason is now in full swing.
The NCAA transfer portal will open April 7 and remain open through April 21, a change from previous years when it opened during the NCAA tournament in March.
For players with remaining eligibility, decisions about the NBA draft will also need to be made. Any player could apply for an NBA Undergraduate Advisory Committee evaluation, and could enter the 2026 NBA draft pool while hiring an NCAA-certified agent. The deadline to enter the draft is typically in late April, and the NCAA's deadline to withdraw from the draft and return to school is typically in late May.
