LeBron, Bronny James land major father-son NBA history for Lakers

Both Lakers stars pulled the first father-son assist in NBA history on Friday vs. Brooklyn.

LeBron James has pulled another epic NBA record, and he can't be happier to share this with none other than Bronny.

Los Angeles Lakers / Schedule

On Friday night home game for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Nets, LeBron and Bronny delivered for the first-ever father-son assist in NBA history.

Both players connected during the 7:50 mark of the second quarter, as James passed the ball to Bronny for a successful wide-open three-pointer.

Bronny hasn't played that much this year, but he finally earned momentum to secure a notable milestone with his father against the rebuilding Nets.

The younger James appeared in only 33 games so far for LA in his sophomore season, but he logged much better numbers for the South Bay Lakers. In six G League games, he is averaging 9.8 points, 4.7 assists and 3.8 rebounds.

Meanwhile, the 41-year-old LeBron remains a highly productive player in his record-setting 23rd NBA season. For the Lakeshow, he is averaging 21.0 points, 6.9 assists and 6.0 rebounds in 52 games played.
