Redick described Hachimura as a well-rounded player who can defend at a high level while providing scoring support.
His ability to shoot from all areas of the court and space the floor makes him a perfect complement to stars like LeBron James, Austin Reaves, and Luka Doncic.
"We are now 42-18 when Rui plays, which is a 57-58-win pace. That tells you all you need to know, his ability to space the floor, his size, it's important for our team and our rotation," Redick said in a post-game press conference.
Hachimura this season averages 11.1 points and 3.2 rebounds per game while shooting 50.5% from the field and 43.8% from three.
The victory was the Lakers' 11th in 12 games, boosting their record to 48-26 and solidifying their hold on the third spot in the Western Conference.
