Enzo Fernandez's partner responds when asked if he is staying at Chelsea or Real Madrid

Enzo Fernandez’s partner, Valentina Cervantes, has once again addressed the uncertainty surrounding their life in London, hinting that while she shares a deep affection for Chelsea, her future remains tethered to wherever Enzo’s career takes their family next.

Enzo Fernandez‘s future has dominated the talk at Chelsea of late, alongside the future of Liam Rosenior.

The defeat to PSG sparked the controversy when a Fernandez interview was taken slightly out of context, with his comments on his future suggesting he’s leaning towards a Chelsea exit.

However, since then, Fernandez has addressed the media once again, offering a more pro-Chelsea stance that has offered hope that he will sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge.

And his partner has offered her perspective for Chelsea fans, though the decision is ultimately down to Fernandez this summer.

Enzo Fernandez’s partner wants to stay at Chelsea

Driving by in a passing car, Azzenstream posted a video where they interviewed Enzo Fernandez’s partner, Valentina Cervantes, who provided an update on his future.

“Are we staying at Chelsea? I don’t know, hopefully yes, I love it.

“Madrid? I don’t know I don’t know, wherever they tell me to go, I’ll go with the boys.”

It’s a vote of confidence for Chelsea that could help persuade Fernandez to stay put in London. However, we believe that the one factor that will truly influence his decision is Champions League football.

Chelsea face an anxious wait over Fernandez

Enzo Fernandez has stated that he’s ‘very comfortable’ at Chelsea, but that’s the easy thing to say at this point in a season where you don’t want to upset the club you’re at.

As Chelsea’s vice captain, he understands his importance and knows a new deal may be coming his way in the summer, but the draw of Real Madrid could be tempting.

However, should he leave Chelsea, then Madrid can expect to pay an incredibly high fee when you consider that Fernandez joined for £106.8 million.
