Marcus Rashford has been presented with a golden opportunity to get back into the Barcelona line-up for a few weeks when he returns to Hansi Flick’s squad after the international break.
It’s nothing new having Marcus Rashford as part of the England squad. Ever since he arrived at Barcelona, on loan from Manchester United, the 28-year-old has felt at home in Thomas Tuchel’s squad.
Even though Rashford seems to have hit a bit of a rough patch in Spain, or just isn’t getting as much game time as he enjoyed earlier in the season, he is still set to earn a spot in the World Cup squad announced later this year.
It would be a major boost for Rashford if he could get back to proving himself on the pitch for Barcelona, though Tuchel is unlikely to overlook him anyway.

Barcelona hit with Raphinha injury ahead of business end of the season
Barcelona are set to be without winger Raphinha for approximately five weeks after the Brazilian suffered a hamstring injury on international duty.
It was confirmed in a Barcelona statement on Friday evening that Raphinha is expected to be ruled out of action for five weeks.
Raphinha’s injury comes as a major blow for Barcelona. The versatile forward is a starter under Flick and has secured a place in the team above Rashford, with 19 goals and eight assists in 31 games this season.

However, the injury can help Rashford get back to his best, so the United loanee will be looking to take advantage of the situation when he returns to Barcelona next week.
Rashford could help convince Barcelona to sign him permanently in the summer by proving to be an important figure under Flick in decisive games.
Barcelona are currently four points clear at the top of La Liga, but Raphinha’s injury means the winger misses the most crucial stage of the season with a Champions League quarter-final tie against Atletico Madrid on the horizon.
