Multiple pundits have suggested Nick Sirianni and the Philadelphia Eagles are a potential landing spot for All-Pro Myles Garrett.

Insider Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported at the end of this week the Cleveland Browns will not trade edge rusher Myles Garrett. But connecting some dots from this offseason, pundits still see a trade as possibly on the table.

Working under that assumption, two analysts have suggested the Philadelphia Eagles as a potential landing spot for the 2-time Defensive Player of the Year award winner over the past few days.

CBS Sports’s John Breech named the Eagles one of five potential landing spots for Garrett.

“The Eagles lost Jaelan Phillips in free agency and could use more pass-rush help,” Breech wrote. “They sacked Patrick Mahomes six times in their Super Bowl LIX win, so GM Howie Roseman knows the value of a dominant pass rush. He’s also not afraid to make a big move, so it wouldn’t be surprising if he took a swing at acquiring Garrett.”

Notably, Breech released his list prior to Garafolo’s report Friday. But Bleacher Report’s Gary Davenport still named the Eagles a landing spot for Garrett on Saturday.

“If the best defensive player in the NFL (and one of the best pass-rushers the league has ever seen) truly is available, you can bet the rent that Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman is interested. Roseman hoards defensive line talent like a squirrel hoards nuts,” wrote Davenport.

“The Eagles have quite a bit of young talent on the defensive front (again, Howie Roseman), but after Jaelan Phillips got a monster contract from the Carolina Panthers, the team lacks an anchor on the edge.”

Garrett, who signed a 4-year, $160 million deal last year, broke the NFL sack record during the 2025 campaign.
