Breaking: Cowboys Sign 131-Game Star For 2026 Season (Report)

The Dallas Cowboys are determined to turn their team around after back to back seven win seasons. The amount of money they have invested on offense with Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, and Javonte Williams has fans expecting a deep post-season run.

However, their defense has been their achilles heel in recent years. Today, they made a move improve that defense.

Cowboys Sign NFL Veteran With 131 Games Under His Belt

According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo:

The#Cowboys are signing veteran DL Jonathan Bullard, per his agent Jon Perzley ofSPORTSTARSNYC.

Bullard is signing a one-year, $2.5M max deal on the day of his late grandmother Joyce’s birthday, which is fitting because he’s said she was a “hollering at the TV” Cowboys fan.

The Cowboys have been looking to solidify their defensive line after trading away Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers last off-season. While Bullard obviously doesn’t play the same position, the hope is to shore up the interior to stop the run. This, in turn, could create more pressure off the edge.

Bullard won’t be the only new name on the defensive line as Rashan Gary was acquired via trade earlier this month.

Bullard entered the league as a member of the Chicago Bears when they drafted him third round in 2016. He has bounced around the league a bit, playing for the Bears, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, Arizona Cardinals, and Seattle Seahawks.

Here is a look at his career stats:

131 career games (59 starts)

10 pass deflections

2 forced fumbles

6.5 sacks

247 career tackles

32 tackles for loss

21 quarterback hits

Cowboys fans will be watching closely to see the kind of impact Bullard has this season!
