South Carolina offers 2029 QB from New Jersey

Walker Snee is the latest 2029 quarterback to pick up an offer from South Carolina.

On Saturday, Snee visited Columbia to watch the Gamecocks' ninth spring practice of the year. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound prospect posted about the offer that afternoon.

Snee, who's out of Paramus Catholic in Oradell, N.J., is the son of former New York Giants offensive lineman Chris Snee. The younger Snee's grandfather is Tom Coughlin, the former head coach of the Giants and Jaguars. He also spent a few seasons in that position at Boston College.

Arkransas, Indiana, Michigan, North Carolina and Ole Miss are among the schools that have offered Snee, who played at Bergen Catholic this past season. He completed 12 of 26 passes for 59 yards and rushed for 271 and scored three touchdowns as a freshman.

South Carolina has offered four 2029 quarterbacks so far. The Gamecocks pulled the trigger on an offer for Bear Woods (Anderson, S.C.) last Saturday. CJ Cypher (Carrollton, Ga.) and Ty Snell (Allen, Tex.) were offered by Briles earlier this year.
