Back in high school at Whitehouse, Texas, Mahomes was just a freshman with a crush on Brittany, a junior soccer standout. On paper, they clicked as two athletes in the same circle, however, romantically, things did not land. According to reports, multiple attempts by Mahomes to take things beyond friendship fell flat, leaving him stuck in the dreaded zone.
