Per Marc Stein. there have been "legs" about LeBron joining Steph Curry in Golden State.
There is a genuine momentum for the Golden State Warriors to potentially land LeBron James in the offseason, according to NBA insider Marc Stein in his latest Substack report.

"The Warriors are likewise routinely described by rival teams as one of the few credible destinations for LeBron James' 24th NBA campaign if James and the Lakers indeed part ways after eight seasons together," he wrote.
"It has some legs," one league source told Stein about LeBron joining the Warriors.
LeBron James' impending free agency status stands as perhaps the biggest and most anticipated narrative after this season. The 41-year-old holds an expiring $52.6 million player option.
His future with the Los Angeles Lakers is fully uncertain, with the franchise set to build around new cornerstone Luka Doncic and retain Austin Reaves for a max contract.
Both James and the Warriors have been linked all season. Many continue to fantasize about an unimaginable pairing of LeBron and Stephen Curry in the Bay Area, as the two future Hall of Famers remain in pursuit of their title No. 5.
For now, it remains to be seen what will happen next. As James continues to rally the Lakers as the third team in the West with a 48-26 record this year, the Warriors are meanwhile enduring an injury-riddled offseason and are bound to enter the Play-In Tournament with a 36-38 card.
