The Washington Wizards lost to the Portland Trail Blazers, 123-88 on Sunday evening.
The first half was another one of those situations where Washington started out cold but eventually shot 39.1 percent for the half as a whole. They still let Portland shoot 48.9 percent with former Wizards forward Deni Avdija scoring 15 of his 20 points in the half for the Blazers.
The second half was another classic drag where Washington started out even colder which allowed Portland to break the game open. And that was what did the Wizards in.
Will Riley led the Wizards with 14 points. Toumani Camara led the Blazers with 23 points.
The Wizards’ next game is tomorrow night against the Los Angeles Lakers. Tip off is at 10 p.m. ET. See you then.
