STEELERS FIGHTING FOOD INSECURITY
For the second year in a row, a group of Steelers are helping to fight food insecurity. According to Dakota News Now, Zach Frazier, Mason McCormick and Ryan McCollum are supporting Team Buche Cares with “Steelers In The Field” to help raise money to fight against food insecurity in rural areas of South Dakota. The three also participated in a hunting event that buys Easter meals for families in need.
McCormick was born and raised in South Dakota, so it’s a cause that’s near and dear to him. It’s awesome that his teammates and fellow offensive linemen have helped take up and support a very important cause. McCormick said his teammates “weren’t going to miss this for anything,” and while they enjoyed hunting, they also made sure that families can have a happy and healthy Easter.
MCCRANE MAKES HISTORY
While his Steelers tenure was short, Matt McCrane was integral to the team beating the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17 of the 2018 season, knocking through three field goals in a 16-13 win. McCrane is now in the UFL as a member of the DC Defenders, and he made history by knocking in the league’s first four-point field goal.
Before this season, the UFL implemented a rule that any successful kick from 60 yards or more would be worth four points instead of the usual three. McCrane became the first player to successfully knock one through, a cool moment for him and one that will go down in the UFL record books.
BROWNS LOOKING AT YOUNG QB
Despite drafting Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns may be looking to add another young quarterback to their roster. That’s the word from GM Andrew Berry, who told reporters, including Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot, at the NFL Owners’ Meetings that the team could be looking for another young quarterback.
#Browns GM Andrew Berry reiterates that the team could add another young QB. He said #Alabama QB Ty Simpson has a “bright future” in the league but wouldn’t say how interested.

It’ll be interesting to see where the Browns look to target a quarterback in the draft, if they do at all. The Steelers could also be in the quarterback market, and Cleveland could be looking at some of the same players as the Steelers to address the position.
