Stephen Curry recovery update: Steve Kerr shares latest good news on Warriors star

Per Golden State coach, Curry had a "good session" in his past knee injury rehabilitation.

It appears that Stephen Curry is making good and significant progress in his continued injury recovery.

In his pregame speech ahead of the Golden State Warriors' Sunday showdown against the Denver Nuggets, head coach Steve Kerr revealed that Rick Celebrini, the team's head of medical staff, texted him to inform him that Curry had a "good session" in his recent knee rehabilitation (h/t Sam Gordon of The San Francisco Chronicle).

The next update about Curry's recovery progress will be given next week.

Curry remains unavailable due to his lingering "runner's knee" complications. He hasn't been with Golden State since late January.

Previously, Kerr was candid enough to inform everyone that if Curry isn't fully healed yet, the Warriors have no choice but to continue putting him on the sidelines. But upon the latest rehab update from Celebrini, Dubs fans can only be optimistic about the current direction of the two-time MVP.

With two weeks left in the regular season, the Warriors hope nothing but the soonest return of Curry before the Play-In Tournament, as they are currently 10th in the West standings with a 36-38 record.
