Nikola Jokic delivered another viral response after hearing praise from WNBA star Caitlin Clark, who called him the best player in the world, joking that she said it because they share the same agent.
Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic received high praise from one of the top WNBA players today, Caitlin Clark, ahead of a 116–93 win over the Golden State Warriors on Sunday.
Clark called Jokic one of her favorite players to watch, adding that he is probably the best player in the world right now. Jokic later reacted to the comment during a press conference.
As usual, his response quickly went viral, as he jokingly explained the reason behind the praise.
"We had the same agent. That’s why she said it," Jokic joked after another dominant performance, finishing with 25 points, 15 rebounds, and 8 assists against the Warriors.
This season, Jokic is once again one of the leading candidates to win the MVP award.
The three-time NBA MVP is averaging 27.9 points, 12.9 rebounds, and 10.8 assists while leading the Nuggets to a 48–28 record and the fourth seed in the Western Conference.
