Borussia Dortmund’s Daniel Svensson remained coy when quizzed about talk of interest from Leeds United.
The 24-year-old has since been linked with Real Madrid, a testament to the rapid nature of his growth in the Bundesliga.
He is currently on international duty with Sweden, where he has linked up with Leeds left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson.

Daniel Svensson on transfer talk
Svensson has been pressed on his future by Fotbollskanalen, but did not provide any fuel for the fire.
When asked about the report of Premier League interest, he said: “I'm just focusing on Dortmund. That's where I am and I'm really happy. It's not something I have any focus on. We have important games left in the season.”
Regarding talk of interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid, he said: “I haven't heard anything about it, to be honest. I have nothing to say about it.
“Because I don't know anything about it, it's not something I'm thinking about. But it's certainly fun.”
Svensson’s most obvious show of faith to Dortmund came when he was asked if he was looking to change clubs this summer.
He replied: “No, I wouldn't say that. I'm really enjoying Dortmund. I haven't been there for that long. I feel like I have more to do there. I'm really happy to be there.”

Borussia Dortmund star’s rise
Svensson would arguably be a shrewd signing for most Premier League clubs and Leeds would most likely face competition if they made a move.
He has looked comfortable in the top tier of German football since his move from Danish outfit FC Nordsjælland, sending his stock soaring.
Not only can he operate in the heart of midfield, Svensson can feature at left-back or on the left-hand side of midfield. This season, he has racked up 39 appearances across all competitions for Dortmund.
