Cole Palmer told what Real Madrid's likely stance on signing him is

Chelsea’s main man Cole Palmer is being linked with a move to Real Madrid.

It was recently claimed that Palmer misses Nicolas Jackson and is unhappy with some of the tactics at Chelsea.

However, former Premier League striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has a message for the attacking midfielder if he is hoping for a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

Gabriel Agbonlahor doubts Real Madrid will want to sign Cole Palmer from Chelsea

Real Madrid already have a lot of attacking talent, including Arda Guler and Brahim Diaz, who both play in Palmer’s preferred positions behind the striker and on the right.

As a result, Agbonlahor thinks there is little chance of the Spanish giants making a move for the Englishman in the next transfer window.

Speaking on talkSPORT, the ex-Aston Villa forward said: “I don’t think they’d want him, Real Madrid. I don’t think they do. The players that they’ve got, Guler, Diaz, they’ve got enough players in those positions.”

While Palmer is very unlikely to move to Real Madrid in the summer, one of his teammates could.

Enzo Fernandez continues to be linked with a transfer to Alvaro Arbeloa’s side and has done nothing to put an end to all of the speculation.

It has been said that Fernandez hopes to become a legend at Real Madrid one day.

Cole Palmer starts for Real Madrid

Guler is an exceptional talent and Diaz has made a lot of progress over the last few years. Real Madrid also have Jude Bellingham who can play in the No.10 role.

With all of that being said, if Palmer gets anywhere close to the form that he showed in the 2023/24 season, the England international easily starts for Real Madrid.

It was one of the best individual seasons an English player has ever produced. In 45 appearances for Chelsea, he came up with 40 goal contributions.

A return like that could get Palmer into Real Madrid or any other team in the world. That campaign alone is reason enough not to even think about the idea of selling Palmer to Los Blancos.
