Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur addressed his new contract for the first time at the NFL annual league meetings.

Head coach Matt LaFleur wasn’t exactly forthright while addressing his Green Bay Packers future after the team’s playoff collapse.

But since then, the head coach signed a contract extension with the Packers. While speaking at the NFL’s annual league meeting Monday, LaFleur was a lot more upbeat about his future.

“I’m ecstatic to be back with the Packers,” said LaFleur, via ESPN’s Rob Demovsky.

“This is a 1-of-1 organization. Love the organization,” he added.

The Packers announced a contract extension for LaFleur on January 30. Green Bay also signed general manager Brian Gutekunst and executive vice president/director of football operations Russ Ball to extensions.

“We are excited to extend our commitment to Brian, Matt and Russ as the leaders of our football operations,” said Packers CEO Ed Policy. “The entire Packers organization looks forward to supporting every effort to bring our community and fans another championship that they very much deserve.”
