The Kansas City Chiefs enjoyed a long period of success under the direction of CEO Clark Hunt and his daughter Gracie Hunt. However, the 2025 NFL season was not good for them, as they finished with a dismal 6-11 record and ended up third in the AFC West division.
They missed the playoffs, which was the first time they had done so since 2014. As the franchise attempts to restructure themselves, Gracie has been enjoying herself during the offseason.
Gracie is the eldest daughter of Chiefs chairman and CEO Clark Hunt and works in public relations for the Chiefs organization and is often seen on the sidelines during games. She recently turned 27 on March 29, 2026, and celebrated her birthday.

Gracie was born on March 29, 1999. While her father is the current CEO of the Chiefs organization, it was her grandfather Lamar Hunt who not only founded the franchise, but also played a role in the creation of the American Football League and the Super Bowl. The Hunt family itself is one of the most prestigious and wealthiest families in the country.
Gracie received a lot of love on her birthday which included a romantic birthday tribute from her boyfriend Derek Green on Instagram. Derek is himself the son of former Chiefs quarterback Trent Green.
Derek’s birthday tribute was a carousel of pictures of the couple, along with a message that read, “Happy birthday, Gracie! Love you and can’t wait for this to be your best year yet.” Gracie shared it on her Instagram stories, with a simple “I love you” message. Both of them often post each other on their social media handles and have an affectionate dynamic between them.
Derek and Gracie have been together for more than a year. The relationship was first made public in May 2025 and they celebrated their first anniversary together in March 2026. She posted a [video](https://www.instagram.com/reels/DVlW2k9Dvqa/) with the caption “365 days with my best friend” to which Derek replied, “I love you”.
Both of them knew each other as children, playing together during team Christmas parties and later reconnected in 2017 on the sidelines of a game. They became friends and later attended Southern Methodist University, which led to their relationship eventually. Derek used to play as a quarterback at SMU, following in his father’s footsteps.
As the Chiefs continue their preparation for the next season, Gracie Hunt continues to navigate her life in the public spotlight.
