Shedeur Sanders is switching to No. 2 for Year 2.
The Cleveland Browns announced the quarterback's new number on Monday, which coincided with Sanders posting "#2" on social media.
Sanders donned No. 12 as a rookie with the Browns, choosing a number well known for excellence at the quarterback position thanks to recent greats such as Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, as his wide receiver DeAndre Carter sported No. 2.
With Carter no longer on the roster, Sanders is free to return to his college number at Colorado.
