Patriots Executive VP Gets 100% Real on Stefon Diggs’ Potential Return to Franchise

Stefon Diggs is one of the most prominent players of the New England Patriots and has given an amazing performance. The recent news of Stefon being released from New England has left his fans in shock, as there is a big question over his future career.

Despite playing for multiple teams and delivering top-notch performances over the last 8 years of his NFL career, the reason Stefon was released by the team at the start of the new league year remains unclear.

There is speculation that the Philadelphia Eagles’ A.J. Brown could be traded, as the Eagles won’t incur much financial loss by doing so.

Considering the 2026 NFL draft, it won’t be a surprise if they sign a deal with Romeo Doubs, as they would need an alternative for Stefon.

When Eliot Wolf was asked about their decision and what the future holds for Stefon in the Patriots, he said

“Yeah, I never like to rule anything out,” Wolf said on a potential reunion with Diggs on Up & Adams. “There are always different scenarios that come up, whether you have an injury or a scheme shift or whatever the case may be, so I don’t want to close the door on anything.”

Analyst Names the Baltimore Ravens as Potential Landing Spot for Stefon Diggs

Analyst Jordan Dajani named the AFC champions, the Baltimore Ravens, as a potential landing spot for the former Patriots star, Stefon Diggs, after his shocking release from the franchise.

Dajani pointed out how Stefon secured 1,013 yards receiving along with four touchdowns on 85 catches.

“The New England Patriots released Diggs prior to free agency after he led the team with 1,013 yards receiving and four touchdowns on 85 catches on the way to a Super Bowl appearance. New England’s next leading wide receiver was Kayshon Boutte with 551 yards. It was an impressive season from Diggs, as he was coming off a torn ACL at 32 years old,”wrote Dajani.

“Diggs is a four-time Pro Bowl pass catcher, and led the NFL in both receptions and receiving yards in 2020. The ring-chasing Ravens make sense for Diggs. He was born in Gaithersburg, and went to high school at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Olney before starring at the University of Maryland. It would be fitting if he helped Baltimore’s NFL team get to the Super Bowl.”

Stefon Diggs was released from the Patriots on March 4th and saved $16.8 million in 2026.
