Indiana Football Pro Day to be televised live on NFL Network this Wednesday

Indiana football will take center stage this week ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft. IU is set to host its annual Pro Day on Wednesday afternoon, and NFL Network will have live coverage from Bloomington of all Hoosiers participating in testing, drills, measurements and much more.

NFL Network's coverage of Indiana's Pro Day begins at **1 p.m. ET on Wednesday afternoon**. The live commentary panel will include Daniel Jeremiah, Rhett Lewis, Bucky Brooks and Patrick Clayborn on-site at Mellencamp Pavilion in Bloomington.

Indiana's Pro Day is expected to draw significant attention from NFL teams with scouts and front-office personnel in attendance. Workouts to be conducted include 40-yard dash, broad jump, vertical jump, 3-cone shuttle, bench press and various position workouts.

Indiana's Pro Day offers its draft prospects a chance to showcase themselves in front of NFL teams. A record-breaking nine Hoosiers attended the NFL Combine in late Feb., though several more players like running back Kaelon Black, defensive end Mikail Kamara and others did not receive an invitation.

The headliner of IU's Pro Day will be quarterback Fernando Mendoza, the projected No. 1 overall pick, who is expected to participate in the throwing drills on Wednesday. Mendoza did not throw or participate in any drills at the NFL Combine.

The Hoosiers are projected to have six players selected in ESPN's [**latest seven-round mock draft**](https://247sports.com/college/indiana/longformarticle/indiana-football-espns-2026-nfl-draft-7-round-mock-has-six-hoosiers-selected-279642704/), including Mendoza at No. 1 overall to the Las Vegas Raiders and receiver Omar Cooper Jr. vaulting as a first-round selection. IU standouts D'Angelo Ponds, Elijah Sarratt, Aiden Fisher and Pat Coogan are also projected to hear their names called in the draft.

The Hoosiers are poised for their most successful NFL Draft cycle in program history. Indiana could have its first-ever No. 1 overall pick with Mendoza the heavy favorite to be selected by the Las Vegas Raiders to begin the draft. IU could also have as many as four players selected in the first two rounds, with Mendoza, Sarratt, Cooper and Ponds all projected as top-two round picks.

Since 1994, when the NFL Draft was reduced to its current seven-round format, Indiana has never had more than three players drafted in the same year. IU's all-time record for draft picks in a single year came in 1976 with seven draft selections.

Current NFL mock drafts have anywhere from seven to 15 Indiana players selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, which would shatter IU's previous best mark in the modern draft era.
